My girlfriend is working and I promised to cook Christmas dinner. Not having corn, having green beans (other stuff as well), usually cook my beans with a little olive oil, then salt and pepper to tast. Last year being in the same situation I did something a little different and did that awful green beans with the dry onions . . . mine sucked. Someone suggested cooking the green beans with vermouth (did I spell it right), but don't believe it would be good. I might try a caserol (think my spelling is bad tonight) if it's not to complicated. Please help! I need some nice good recipes to choose from.
